I started out my career with Nike but made the move to Taylor Made around the mid 2000s and never looked back. Bar none it's the best gear available and I trust both their equipment - and their staff - with everything I have, in order for me to play as well as I can. The technology is cutting edge and innovative and they're always on the forefront regarding the latest and greatest technology.

Anytime I need to drop by the facility in Carlsbad, they make me a priority, work with me and treat me like family. I couldn't even begin to name all the folks there that have done right by me over the years, but I want to thank all of them - also the guys in the trailers week in and week out, as well as the Tour reps who bust their asses on the road, making sure we have everything we need tournament week.

As for Adidas, bar none it's the most comfortable and tourney-read apparel out there. There's nothing worse than being uncomfortable on the course and either having to think about, or being distracted by what you're wearing. The new Climalite shirts are so comfortable you forget you're even wearing one and again, like Taylor Made, Adidas never rests when it comes to remaining cutting-edge and releasing the latest and greatest gear. I'm proud to be sponsored by both companies.

I've known Eric Smith, the founder of Pro Compression, for over a decade. He gave me some socks in late 2011 and after one wear, I was sold. I gave away every pair of golf socks immediately and those guys geared me up for the 2012 season, even creating a custom red and black "PP" sock for me, as well as a "619" powder blue and white sock, in honor of my hometown Chargers.

People often ask me why Pro Compression and aside from the quality of the sock and what compression gear does to keep the blood flowing and me energetic after eighteen holes, I was sold once I realized me foot didn't move in my shoe. Period. As my caddy how much money we've spent in pro shops on overpriced socks, wanting nothing more than comfort and to limit movement. Pro Compression nailed it and that's why I back Eric and those guys.

I met Discovery owner Mike Meldman years back and hit it off immediately. Top to bottom, everyone at Discovery has treated me like family and has been great to me. I'm very grateful for the relationship and the friendships that have come out of getting to know Mike.

Over the past few years I've spent a ton of down time and the off-season at a handful of their gorgeous properties. Baker's Bay in the Bahamas. Gozzer Ranch up in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho every July. El Dorado down in Cabo for a great member-guest every winter. Madison and The Hideaway out in La Quinta when I need to get in some practice when in the desert. Everything, and everyone, is first-class.

As great as the Discovery crew is, the members are all solid folks, as well. I've made a lot of friends over the years and again, everyone welcomed me in day one. A lot of great in-season and off-season memories have been made at all the properties. Always looking forward to my next Discovery experience.
