Tee Times Announced for RBC Canadian Open

PGA Tour professional Pat Perez is back in action this week at the RBC Canadian Open in Quebec. Perez spent last week in San Diego at the Eli Callaway Performance Center, working on his game with coach Joe Mayo, and dropping by Callaway’s headquarters to check out the latest gear, while sitting in for some social media-related efforts.

Perez has history at the event formerly known as the Canadian Open by Franklin Templeton Investments and the Bell Canadian Open. Dating back to his rookie season in 2002, Perez sat out the event in 2012 and 2006 and had a string of missed cuts in 2013, 2010 and 2008.

From there, some middle of the road finishes—T50th (2011), T24th (2009),  T65th (2005) and T32nd (2003)—as well as some strong ones; T10th (2007), T14th (2004) and T12th (2002).

Perez enters this week 64th in the FedExCup standings and 124th in the Official World Golf Rankings. Outside of the obvious playing-to-win modus operandi this week, Perez needs a quality finish to earn a spot in next months PGA Championship at Vahlalla in Louisville.

Perez goes off No. 1 at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday and No. 10 at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, where he’ll be paired with Matt Bettencourt and Jeff Overton both days.
