Perez Back In Action In Charlotte

Pat Perez is headed to Charlotte this week for the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow. Perez sat out last week’s event in New Orleans and last played in the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head where he finished T18th, picking up 50.50 FedExCup points and $73,080 on the week.

Double P enters this week 62nd in FedExCup points with 340 on the season and is 69th on the overall money list with $518,889 earned.

Perez has played Quail Hollow several times over the year. He missed the cut at last year’s event but finished T6th in 2011, shooting eleven-under on the week.

In 2008, when it was still the Wachovia Championship, it was a T12th finish and in 2004 Perez was T21st. In the years between a handful of missed cuts.

Since March, Perez has played four events where he went T7th (Tampa Bay Championship), T50th (Arnold Palmer Invitational), T27th (Shell Houston Open) and T18th (RBC Heritage). PP has spent the off weeks working with swing coach Mark Winkley and sports psychologist Chris Dorriss and enters this week healthy and ready to play.
