Tee Times Announced For Open In Napa

Pat Perez is back in action at this week’s Open in Napa, CA at the Silverado Resort and Country Club. This is Perez’s first event since his FedExCup Playoffs run came to an end with a missed cut at the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston.

Perez has drawn the desired late/early tee times for rounds one and two—going at 12:15 p.m. PT on Thursday, followed up with a 7:15 a.m. PT start on Friday. He’s paired with Shawn Stefani and Gonzalo Fdez-Castano both days.

The Open got kicked off in 2007 and was a no-brainer event for Perez, hosted at Grayhawk Golf Club’s Raptor Course—which he’s called home since 2003. It moved to the CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, CA in 2010 and is gearing up for Silverado this week—it’s third home in eight years and uncharted waters for a solid PGA Tour field, ready to get back to work.

Home cooking and a lay of the land certainly helped Perez when the event was at Grayhawk, going T6th (2007), T7th (2008) and T13th (2009). CordeValle wasn’t as kind, producing a T38th (2010) and missed cut (2011). Perez skipped the event in 2012 and had a T58th finish last season.

Next up for Perez, a return to Las Vegas or the Shriners Hospital for Children Open at TPC Summerlin. Until then, follow all the Open latest here and through PP’s social media channels—Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
