Thursday , September 18, 2014 : Throwback Thursday

With the FedExCup Playoffs in the rearview and the fall season weeks from kicking off, Pat Perez is spending the downtime working on his game, training his core and putting in some preliminary work for his charity golf tournament in Scottsdale, supporting combat-injured veterans.

Preparations for event have us going through the image vault and pulling out this gem from Sunday April 13th, 2003. Perez had just wrapped his first Masters in Augusta and hitched a ride to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with bud John Daly, who stopped by to pick up the crew.

The boys rolled directed into the House of Blues for night one of “Monday After The Masters”, the charity tournament and concert put on by Hootie and the Blowfish, which Perez has played a handful of times since.

Here in this shot, Perez is flanked left-to-right by Daly, legendary rock-n-roll manager Doc McGee (Bon Jovi, KISS, Motley Crue, Skid Row, et al) and longtime friend/brand manager, Chris Bello.

Perez will spend the next few weeks training and putting together details for his Operation Game On event in Scottsdale (launching November 2015), before heading to Northern California for the Open at Silverado Resort, kicking off Thursday October 9th.
